The newest issue of the Boxcar Poetry Review includes C St Perez's review of my book, This Many Miles from Desire.

(&)

The same issue, which also features photography by An Xiao, also includes Part II of my conversation with poet Ivy Alvarez, author of Mortal. At Boxcar's invitation, Ivy and I conversed last summer about our first books and the process/whirlwind of it all.

(&)

Best wishes to artist and activist Juli Jeong Martin, who has launched Grinding Up Stones: The Asian Adoptee 'Zine.

(&)

Much love to my brothers and sisters at Misplaced Baggage, where three adult Vietnamese adoptees ruminate and illuminate. It's already among my regular stops.

(&)

This blog will shift gears for a while--fewer words, mainly images. I need to change the furniture in the room, as it were.

(&)

Looking forward to two more readings this spring before heading off to Korea with my family for a couple of months of food, travel, and writing.

Thanks for reading and for the plug, Lee!

Enjoyed reading your interview with Bryan. Your words are inspiring as always. The photo of you in Laos spoke volumes as well. Might be a nice candidate for a book cover. ;)

My pleasure, Sume. I really like the site.

And thanks for the kind words about the interview. That photo was taken after a bridge washed out in monsoon season.

Hi Lee,

When you change your Blogger template, Blogger loses all of your links.

You need to look yourself up in Google.

Click on your blog link - but click on Google's "Cache" version, rather than the direct link.

(I just checked - your old blog is still cached in Google, which still has your links.)

When you are in the cached version of your blog, go to the "View" tab at the top of your browser.

Then click on "Page Source" because you are trying to view the source code of your cached blog.

Once you are in there, you'll locate your links, which will be in html code. Highlight them, and copy them.

Then, you will go into your new blog's template, and paste them where the links that say "edit me" are located.

Email me if you want me to send you your links or need help (amyhappens at gmail dot com).

Hope that helps!

Amy

Amy, thank you!! I searched all over the discussion topics and couldn't find anything, so I am very, very grateful! I started to recreate many of them, but I have a long way to go. I think I'm going to stick with the blue, though.

By the way, I like your new look. Thanks again.
