If you remind me when you are going to be there, I will meet with you for lunch.
d.
Cool---I'll be getting there somewhere around 1:00 pm if you'll be around. Feel free to backchannel me.
it's real, baby! enjoy it!
I didn't notice the date. If it's coming up, you two must take photos!
And you've been to the City Lights Bookstore? Lucky you! I'd love to see that historic place.
I didn't take photos, Pris, because I lost my camera last month and haven't replaced it yet. But I think somebody took some pictures, so I'll post a few if they circulate back to me. And yes, I love that bookstore. I go there whenever I can, and I also met Lawrence Ferlinghetti a few months ago at the dedication for Jack Kerouac Alley, which runs right behind the bookstore.
Hyun jin, I will be backchanneling you more on this, but I want to say how unbelievably incredible Saturday night's event was in Oakland. It was such an honor to be there, and I am glad that you feel better about it (I read your blogpost after we talked). All your hard work is not forgotten. Hope to see you soon---
