Time recently published its list of the 100 Greatest Albums of All-Time. They are aware of the faux pas of not including a Pink Floyd album, but some of my favorites were high on the list: London Calling by The Clash; It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back by Public Enemy; The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest; The Joshua Tree by U2. It was also nice to see some other favorites that often get overlooked: Pavement, PJ Harvey (although it should have been Rid of Me and not the later record). And how come Fugazi is never on these lists? And what about Pearl Jam? I know they're radio-friendly and all, but I like Pearl Jam. And in my amateur opinion, Siamese Dream is one of the greatest records ever.

But the album I could live on is this one. Pre-dating Check Your Head, that other genius record, I can't even tell you how much I loved this record. The music, the men, and the message went way beyond the beer-fest that was Licensed to Ill. There hasn't been a record like it since. Has there?
