Congratulations to my friend, poet Gillian Wegener of Modesto, who won a 2006 Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Prize to further her work in the art. She received $10,000. In the Grove, the small press I founded, published her first book, Lifting One Foot, Lifting the Other. Her second book is forthcoming from Sixteen Rivers Press in 2008.
& at last, I have settled on cover art for my book. Relief.
