The Best Sentence in a Poet's Bio

"Jennifer L. (El) Knox was born and raised in Lancaster, California, where absolutely anything can be turned into a bong."

I initially misread the quote, thought it said Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Which, last I knew, is in the heart of Amish country. Set me going for a minute, trying to imagine an Amish bong...

dana you have an excellent point. Now I have images of long beards and homemade bongs out in the countryside. Marijuana is, after all, a plant of the earth.
